WARNING!
When starting the power unit, be careful to position the tool away from people and things. It can be dangerous for the
operator's safety to ignore this warning.

USE OF THE TOOL
5.1
Control device
See the enclosed engine manual.
WARNING!
Before starting the tool, wear protective shoes, gloves and googles (see picture C) and check that all safety and protection
devices have been assembled and work properly.
WARNING!
•
Use the tool only for the aims described in chapter "Product description". Any other use may cause injuries.
•
Start the tool only when it is among the branches. Any improper use damages the tool and causes excessive
fuel consumption.
WARNING!
It is forbidden to modify the accelerator adjustment set out by the Manufacturer.
The carburetor has been calibrated to use harvesting heads running at a speed which should not exceed 1250 rpm.
The non-respect of these warnings makes the tool warranty void.
5.2 Starting procedures
•
Put the tool in a comfortable and stable position, for example in a branch fork or on a ground height. The teeth shall not
touch the ground or other objects.
•
Seize the engine unit firmly, pull the recoil starter rope (2), start the engine and accelerate it.
WARNING!
With the operating lever (8) in half-accelerating position, the rakes (pictures D-E-L) move.
5.3 Stopping the tool
The tool shall be stopped at the end of the working session:
•
Stop the harvesting head movement (pictures D-E-L) by means of the operating lever (8).
•
Put the ON-OFF switch (6) in OFF mode.
•
Lay down the tool avoiding that it weighs on the rakes.
5.4 Use of the POWER MOTOR unit
WARNING!
•
Start the tool only when the teeth are among the branches. Any improper use causes a large wear-and-tear of the
tool and an excessive fuel consumption.
•
Do not make the harvesting head idle. Its structure could get damaged.
The operator, after having seized the tool with both hands according to the picture, has to carry out the following operations:
a) Insert the teeth among the branches and pull the operating lever (8). Comb the branches downwards to make the fruit fall.
b) After the complete fruit fall, release the operating lever (8) and stop the tool. Repeat then the operation described in point
(a).
IMPORTANT!
After a long-lasting use, make the engine idle for a while till most of the heat is eliminated by the cooling air. This
