Recording video with audio
1. Set the video quality using the D1/HD switch (6). Slide the switch to HD position to record high resolution
(1280 x 720 Pixel) video, to D1 for normal quality (848 x 480 pixels).
2. Press the video button (12) to start the recording. The LED status indicator flashes slowly. The video will be
automatically saved to the microSD card and can be read from the microSD card at a later point in time. The
maximum recording length is 30 minutes for each video. Subsequently, the camera will start a new file.
3. Press the video button to stop the recording.
Videos have the file extension ".avi".
When the microSD card is full, the LED status indicator flashes quickly.
It is not possible to make photos while a video is being recorded.
Diving:
Depending on the diving depth and water conditions, the ambient lighting may not be sufficient for
satisfactory recordings. Use a dive light to improve ambient lighting.

The indicators (LED status indicators and battery indicator) provide you with information on the operational
readiness of the camera. The following table summarises the possible indications:

9. Saving / replaying data to/on a computer
1. Connect the camera to your computer.
2. You can now copy the recorded videos and photos to your computer.
3. Play the photos and videos with your standard multimedia playback software.
10. Troubleshooting
If the camera does not respond to inputs, press the button Reset (8) using a thin and blunt object to reset the
camera.

11. Cleaning and maintenance
• After use, put the protective cap (3) back onto the lens (4).
• This camera is maintenance-free. The outside should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or a brush. Clean the
lens very carefully to avoid scratches.
• Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be damaged.
• After each use clean the water-resistant housing.
12. Disposal
Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
The built-in battery must be disposed of by a specialist.
(Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the
domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg =
Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or
wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
