#1 Slide the safety sliding switch to the right to
activate the device.
#2 Unfold the wand until it is open at least 180
The ON/OFF button should start blinking when the
device is armed and ready to use. (Device is set
to turn ON at 180
exposure to user's hand)
#3.1 To turn ON the UVC LEDs (option 1):
Once the device is activated and ready to use,
press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn ON the
UVC LEDs (UV turns ON after 1 second). Release
the button to turn OFF the UVC LEDs.
#3.2 To turn ON the UVC LEDs (option 2):
Once the device is activated and ready to use,
double-click the ON/OFF button to turn and keep
the UVC LEDs ON, until the button is pressed again
to turn them OFF.
#4 While the UVC LEDs are ON, visible LEDs
project a blue-colored light showcasing the area
of disinfection of target surface. The Acuva logo
on the back of the device will glow indicating the
UVLEDs are on and working properly. Regardless
of the method used to activate the UVC LEDs, they
will turn off after 3 minutes as a safety measure.
