4.3 TEMPERATURE REGULATION
There are two factors you can influence to regulate the temperature of the cooking plate:
the airflow and the amount of briquettes.
High temperatures can cause discolouration or release of
coating on some parts of the grill. This is inevitable and will not
affect the performance of OFYR

To regulate the airflow: turn the inner container to open or close the air vents
in the outer container. Use the tool to turn the inner container to the desired position.
See chapter 4.2 Prepare for cooking, step 4 and 12.

To add or remove briquettes, use the Tool or OFYR
Place the cooking plate back after you've placed the briquettes.
4.4 AFTER COOKING
After cooking, let OFYR
Never extinguish the fire with water.
Never throw glowing coals or hot ashes into the garbage.
Always make sure that the coals are extinguished and cold before
disposing of them.
4.5 TIPS AND TRICKS
•
Always start with a well cleaned grill plate. Food rests from
previous sessions should be removed with a brush.
•
Less OFYR
a smaller company or cooking for a shorter amount of time.

Clean the cooking plate while it is still warm. Use a cloth to remove food rests.
Then, cut a lemon in half. Scrape it over the cooking surface to clean it.

Fish and vegetables require more oil than fatty meats.
