6. INSTALLATION
6.1 CONDITIONS OF USE:
The air curtain is intended for use in a dry interior at a tem-
perature between 5°C and +40°C, a relative humidity of up
to 80%, with fresh air free of coarse dust, grease, chemical va-
pours and other pollutants. The protection class of the air cur-
tain is IP 20 (protection against bodies exceeding 12.5 mm,
water permeable).
Curtains equipped with electric coils are equipped with an
automatic reset safety thermostat (located on each heating
element) and a manual reset safety thermostat.
The water coils are designed to receive water at a maximum
temperature of 100°C and a maximum operating pressure of
1.6 MPa
6.2 INSTALLATION CONDITIONS:
The installation and assembly of the air curtain can only
be carried out by a qualified person with suitable tools and
means.
2 x mounting supports and 4 x screws are supplied with the
curtain.
If you want to install the curtain on threaded bars, you will
need to order them separately. For the curtain to work prop-
erly, you must comply with the following instructions.
IMPORTANT REMARKS
The minimum distances of the curtain must be respected
•
(see image - distances) depending on the flammability of
the materials.
The distances of the curtain in view of the flammability of
•
the materials will be determined by the project creator in
question in accordance with the standards in force at the
location of the installation of the air curtain
The curtain can only be installed in a horizontal posi-
•
tion
Before the suction cover, at least 200 mm of free space
•
must be provided for the curtain to operate properly
The curtain exhaust must be placed as close as possible to
•
the door opening or the opening receiving the curtain
The horizontal projection of the exhaust (blowing) of the
•
curtains must be at least 100mm on each side of the open-

•
as possible to the top edge of the door. Make sure that the
suction and exhaust of the curtain are not obstructed and
that the air flow can be freely distributed in the space, see
picture.

rectly from the ceiling using wall plugs (see below).
Installation with mounting supports
YOU WILL NEED
4 x wall plug (not supplied)
4 x screws (not included)
Measure the holes in the wall according to the dimensional
diagram (see "Dimensions") (observe the installation instruc-

the curtain according to A or B and adjust the height of the
holes in this way! Screw the screws back into the curtain
openings (only partially in the curtain) that held the supports
and hang these screws from the curtain. Check that the cur-
tain is properly fixed so that it does not accidentally fall
down.
Installation using threaded bars
YOU WILL NEED
4 x 6 mm anchor (not supplied)
4 x M6 threaded bar (not supplied
8 x nut M6 (not supplied)
