Detection
By default, activity detection is off for each camera. Press the camera key and use
to turn activity on or off for the selected camera.
Sensitivity
This option is used to set up the level of movement required to trigger activity detection.
Sprite Lite has 5 levels of sensitivity for activity detection, select the level which is suited to
the camera's positioning. For example, external cameras may need to have a sensitivity of
either Outdoor high or Outdoor low to allow for variations in light conditions and natural
movement, such as trees.
Activity grid
Sprite Lite has an 8 by 16 activity detection grid, which can be adapted to produce a mask
for each camera. Moving into this field automatically brings up the instructions for setting
up the activity grid.
• Press mode key to enter the activity grid set-up.
• Use the cursor keys to highlight a block and press a camera key to add or remove each
block. A highlighted block means that activity will be detected in that area.
• Press mode key to return to the menu above.
Activity test
This option is used to test the sensitivity and activity grid set-up. Use this option to tune the
activity detection system for each camera. Moving into this field will display the selected
camera full screen, with visual indication of the activity detected.
