behind the training area, which is at least 0.60 m. This zone must be free of
obstacles and offer the user a clear exit path (#5).

Find the seated position that best suits you. If you feel that there isn't enough
space between your knees and the desk, move your Cubii further away from
you and lower the height of the chair.
Keep your back straight and don't slouch.
• •
If you sit on an office chair with wheels, use the chair wheel stoppers.
Place the stoppers on the front casters to prevent your chair from moving
backwards when you pedal (#6).
• •
For swivel chairs with casters we recommend chairs with more than 4
casters.
Set the resistance (#7)
Cubii has 8 resistance levels. Adjust your training intensity by turning the
resistance controller. Level 1 is the lowest intensity, level 8 is the highest. We
recommend that you start with Level 1 and gradually increase the intensity
over time.
Sample training (20 minute duration):

Duration Resistance/intensity
5 min.
Warm up at a comfortable pace and keep the speed between
1-3.
3 min.
Increase the speed by one or two levels (3-5). You should feel
that you are exercising, but at the same time be able to have a
conversation.
2 min.
Increase the speed again so that you are between level 5-8.
3 min.
REDUCE SPEED
2 min.
Increase the speed once more.
5 min.
Reduce the speed to a comfortable level, in order to cool down.
To raise this training level, extend the individual training phases by another 2
/ 3 or 5 minutes per phase.
Note: This is only an example of training which can be individually adapted
according to age and fitness level. During training, make sure you adopt a
comfortable sitting position and always drink enough water.
If the training becomes uncomfortable or causes pain, consult a doctor.

You can track your training on the LCD screen.
It monitors the statistics listed below:
STRD :
Strides (0-9999)
CAL:
Calories (0-999.9 kcal)
DIST:
Distance (0-999.9 miles or km)
TIME:
Time (0: 00-99: 59 hours: min)

Rpm (0-999 strides/min)

Press the silver button to switch between the statistics. Select Scan, to
switch automatically.

The screen is switched on, when you press the silver button or start pedaling.
The screen is automatically switched off after 4 minutes of inactivity.

To reset the statistics, press and hold the silver button until all segments turn
black (about 3 seconds), then release it. The statistics are also reset when
you replace the battery. When the statistics reach maximum values, they will
reset to zero.

Hold down the silver button for 6 seconds, to switch from miles (M) to
kilometres (K). During this time all segments turn black twice. Release the
button after the second flash of black segments.
When displaying the distance you can now see that the M now shows a K
(or vice versa).
LCD screen - battery
To replace the battery carefully remove the screen from the housing.
For the best results use a 1.5 V LR44H button cell battery.
Now insert a new battery – watch out for the correct polarity (#9).
Care and maintenance
Clean the unit regularly with a damp, soft cloth. Only use water and a mild
soap solution to do this. Pay particular attention to the rubber padding on the
wheel tracks. This helps to reduce noise between the wheels

Regularly check that the pedals are screwed tight, and screw them tight them
if necessary.
