GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation
and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box
with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the
operating instructions.
1.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
2.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
3.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
4.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appli-
ance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
5.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and
clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging
(plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene, etc. ) out of their reach.
6.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
7.
Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
8.
Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
9.
Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
10. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
11. Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning
12. This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical
installations.
13. This fan heater may be used only in household, warehouses and workshops. It in-
corporates a thermostat and a self-resetting thermal cut-out to control the heating
elements. The thermostat feels the air temperature and controls the surrounding
temperature. The fan motor is controlled by thermostat and it stops working when
the thermostat cuts off the heating element. The self-resetting thermal cut-out
will switch off the heater to ensure the safety when overheating.
14. When using the heater for the first time, you may notice a slight emission of
smoke. This is quite normal and it stops after a short time.
