INSTALLATION
Where it is installed
Install the detector as follows:
– 2-4 metres from gas appliances (boiler, cooker, etc.)
– Possibly in every room containing a gas appliance.
– In buildings with more than one floor, for better detection, one device for each floor.
– closed doors or other obstacles may prevent "contact" between the gas and the detec-
tor, thus delaying or preventing the alarm to go off or preventing people from hearing the
acoustic signal. Install a suitable quantity of gas detectors and sound warning devices.
