3 USE
3.1 CHARGING THE BATTERY
It is essential to charge the battery for about 16 hours before using the clippers for
the first time.
Charge the clippers at least once during the year following the date of delivery.
The battery reaches its full capacity after 3 or 4 charging/discharging cycles and its
charging time is then about 2 hours.
 The equipment must only be used with
the power pack it was supplied with.
 WARNING: To recharge the battery, use
only the removable power pack supplied
with the equipment.
When charging, it is recommended to switch off the clippers (On/Off button in OFF
position, Fig. 1-B).
Charging the battery on the charge stand
◼ Insert the electrical lead into the charge stand socket (Fig. 2).
◼ Connect the power pack (Fig. 1-E) to a mains power socket.
◼ Put the clippers on the charge stand The indicator light (Fig. 1-D) comes on.
◼ Comply with the recommended charging time (about 2 hours); the indicator light stays
on while the clippers are on the stand.
Use only with the
XY-0450100 power pack.
