The maintenance-free, splash-proof controller is suitable for
fitting in either dry or humid rooms (IP44).
N.B.: The head of the instrument may be positioned either
above or below the sensor cartridge.
On the TKC 7 B 17, the sensor cartridge must always be fitted
facing downwards (see diagram).
On all other types, the cartridge may be fitted in any position.
Operation
If the temperature exceeds the upper switching point X
the contact switches from 1 - 2 to 1 - 3.
If the temperature falls below the lower switching point X
the contact switches from 1 - 3 to 1 - 2.
Electrical connections
Before connecting, check that the power supply complies with
the requirements stated on the specification plate.
In the head of the instrument, try to keep the wiring to the
terminals as direct as possible.

Important:
The left-hand pointer (lower switching point) must not be higher
than the right-hand pointer (upper switching point)
To set the unit, remove the sealing caps. If required, these can
be turned over and used as setting knobs.
If the unit is subjected to vibration, the adjusting knobs must be
sealed.
