4. Safety Guidlines

3 Any type of misuse of the item such as inhaling of gas may cause injury or death.
3 The gas burner uses compressed, flammable gas.
3 The appliance does not include a flame monitoring feature.
3 Only use the appliance in well ventilated areas, and ensure that a safe distance is kept from
flammable or explosive material or gas sources.
3 The appliance should only be operated in horizontal position.
3 Never set the gas burner onto warm or hot surfaces.
3 If you smell gas or hear a hissing sound, or if gas is leaking uncontrollably from the appliance, close
the gas valve right away. Take the gas burner outside right away, and keep it far from any ignition
sources. Allow all of the gas to escape. Caution: the gas burner may be hot! Please, take appropriate
precautions.
3 Use protective eyewear. Beware of the risk of cryogenic burns from liquid gas. Wear gloves if
necessary.
3 When lighting or regulating the flame, keep well away from head, clothing and flammable materials.
3 When refilling the gas burner, do not touch the upper part of the burner.
3 When refilling only use original gas cartridges, e.g. from Rösle.
3 The minimum distance between burner and pot base should be 3 cm/1.2 in.
3 Never place the burner under a closed chafing dish.
3 Never touch the burner while it is in service. Beware of heat!
3 Always handle the appliance with extreme caution and never point it in the direction of persons or animals.
