2. First time use / Filling the reservoir

Check that the safety dial is closed by turning it fully clockwise. Turn the burner upside down, and
position it on a stable surface. Only use the gas burner in well ventilated areas, preferably outdoors,
and far from any ignition sources such as open flames, lit cigarettes, ignition mechanisms or electrical
cooking appliances.
Filling instructions:
Turn the gas cartridge upside down, and insert cartridge valve into the refill valve in the middle of
the bottom of the burner. Press down on the gas cartridge to allow gas to flow into the tank. Keep the
gas cartridge perfectly perpendicular as you fill the tank. The burner's reservoir is full when liquid gas
begins to escape at the refill valve.
After refilling, please wait for about 1 minute before igniting the burner flame.
3. Use
Position the appliance on a dry, level surface. Open the safety dial, slightly counter-clockwise, and
ignite the flame while keeping a safe distance from it. Using the safety dial, adjust the flame size as
desired for your application.
A blue flame indicates correct flame regulation. If the tip of the flame turns red, turn the safety dial to
make the flame smaller, so that less gas is consumed.
Turning the safety dial fully clockwise will extinguish the flame.
