Impact wrench safety instructions
a) Use the wrench correctly. Only use the impact wrench in the manner and for the functions described in this manual.
b) Check for misalignment or poor fastening of moving parts, damage to parts and any other condition that may affect the operation of the tool. If damaged,
have the tool serviced before use.
c) Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer for your model. Accessories that are not suitable for your tool may cause injury or damages.
d) Choose the right sockets according to the size of the bolt and nut and for the size of the square drive. Use of wrong sockets will result in damages the bolt
and tool. The specification of bolt, nut and required torque must accord with the precision class of the bolt, nut and national standard. Use only impact wrench
sockets. Do not use standard sockets.
e) Do not force tool. When tightening a nut or bolt, never allow the wrench to impact more than 7-8 times to avoid over tightening. Finsh tightening the wheel
nuts with a torque wrench or suitable spanner to the wheel nut torque recommended by the tool manufacturer.
f) Carefully maintain the tool's power cable. Keep the cable well away from the machine and make sure you are working close to an electrical supply, so that
the operation is not restricted by the length of the cable. If working outdoors, always use an approved cable extension suitable for the power rating of this tool.
g) When using a cable reel, always unwind the cable completely.
h) Do not use tool if the switch does not turn it on or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
i) Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool. Such preventive safety measures reduce
the risk of starting the tool accidentally.
j) Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools can be dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
k) Maintain tools with care. Keep tools in a good condition and make sure they are clean. Properly maintained tools are less likely to malfunction and are easier
to control.
NOTE: Torque and speed may vary depending on the operating time. When you want to assemble or disassemble a bolt, you want keep the tool running for
more than 5 seconds. Keeping the tool running for more than 5 seconds, does not equal higher torque. The torque will also vary according to different size of
bolt. Not using the appropriate sockets according to the size of the bolt and nut will also impact torque and speed.
