Using the CR-314 remote control
Ensure that DVD mode is selected using the
toggle button. The 'DVD' LED above the
is lit briefly when DVD mode is selected.
Dims or turns the DV78's display on or off. Turning the display off
generally gives a slight improvement in sound quality.

once turns the display off; twice dims the display.
