5.- Use the blades supplied:
a) Slicing Blade: Use to cut thick vegetable slices of cucumber, courgette, carrot etc.
b) Serrated Blade: Use to cut correlated vegetable slices of cucumber, courgette,
carrot etc.
c) Thicker Julienne Blade: Use for 'Julienning' any type of vegetable (cutting the
food into long thick strips)
d) Thinner Julienne Blade: Use for 'Julienning' any type of vegetable (cutting the
food into long thin strips, similar to matchsticks.)
e) Grater: Use for grating a whole variety of foods from cheeses to dried fruits etc.
6.- Make sure that you place a bowl under the vegetable cutter to collect the food that you are
cutting or grating.
7.- When you wish to start cutting or grating make sure that you place the vegetables in the
vertical T tube compartment. Keep your finger on the switch to keep the device running at
all times, the blade will start to rotate, aided by the pressure we are adding to the top of the
T tube, pushing the food against the edge of the knife. Do not put an overwhelming amount
of pressure onto the plunger, if you do, the motor may stop causing malfunctioning prob-
lems.
8.- Do not insert spoons or other items during use, as this could cause irreparable damage to
the knives and the engine.
9.- For the removal and changing of the blade, make sure that you disconnect the plug from the
socket. Turn the safety lock clockwise and extract the knife.
MAINTENANCE:
1.- Ensure the cooler is unplugged before cleaning or if the cooler is not in use.
2.- Wash the electronic Vegetable Cutter shaft by hand, never in the dishwasher. The motor
head must never be submerged in water or liquid.
3.- In order to clean the device, use non-aggressive detergents or dish cleaning products.
Never use harsh detergents or solvents.
4.- Keep appliance away from any heat source or direct sunlight.
5.- The electronic Vegetable Cutteris an electrical appliance. To avoid injury or death from
electrical shock do not operate the wine cooler with wet hands, while standing on a wet
surface or while standing in water.
CLEANING:
1.- Once the blender has been used, switch off the engine and disconnect the plug, dismantle
the pieces to wash them in water, dry them, and assemble them again.
2.- The blade inside the bowl may be disassembled, and therefore you should be extremely
careful in order to avoid cutting your hands and fingers. After cleaning, be sure to place all
the parts in their correct position.
3.- The main body cannot be washed in water. Clean it only with a damp cloth.
4.- Make sure that the appliance is stored in a dry, well-ventilated place, free from
dampness.
