Installation of the Information Gateway, IGW
IMPORTANT!
Information Gateway will function only when the
parameter Classified Engine is enabled (FNL = 1).
1. Connect the IGW-connector (B) to the Multilink
HUB (C).
2. Connect the IGW-connector (A) to the VDR-unit
or to another ship system.
IGW LED (2)
Constant lit:
The unit is powered up.
Diagnostic LED (3)
•
Constant lit:
The unit is powered up but receives no commu-
nication from (A)-side or (B)-side.
•
Flashes on / off repeatedly:
The unit is receiving/transmitting valid data from
the (A)-side and from the (B)-side.
•
Flashes 2 strobes and then off repeatedly:
The unit is receiving/transmitting data from the
(B)-side but not from the (A)-side.
•
Flashes 3 strobes and then off repeatedly:
The unit is receiving/transmitting data from the
(A)-side but not from the (B)-side.

WICHTIG!
Information Gateway wird nur dann funktionieren,
wenn der Parameter „Klassifizierter Motor" aktiviert
ist (FNL = 1).
1. Den IGW-Stecker (B) an den Multilink-Hub (C)
anschließen.
2. Den IGW-Stecker (A) an das VDR-Gerät oder ein
anderes Schiffssystem anschließen.
IGW LED (2)
Dauerleuchten:
Das Gerät ist in Betrieb.
Diagnose-LED (3)
•
Dauerleuchten:
Das Gerät ist in Betrieb, empfängt jedoch kei-
nerlei Kommunikationssignale von der (A)-Seite
oder (B)-Seite.
•
Wiederholtes Ein-/Aus-Blinken:
Das Gerät empfängt/sendet gültige Daten von
der (A)-Seite und der (B)-Seite.
•
Blinkt wiederholt zweimal:
Das Gerät empfängt/sendet Daten von der (B)-
Seite aber nicht von der (A)-Seite.
•
Blinkt wiederholt dreimal:
Das Gerät empfängt/sendet Daten von der (A)-
Seite aber nicht von der (B)-Seite.
