Description
The AS520 series siren is an outdoor siren with two beacons.
Wiring
First, wire the control panel (power down) to the siren as
shown above, before connecting the battery. When the battery
is connected for the first time, the siren will give a short beep.
The siren cannot be activated until all inputs (input power and
hold-off voltages) are correct. The siren will be activated if the
input power is removed or drops significantly or if the siren
hold-off voltage is removed.

Battery removal/disposal
This product may contain one sealed, rechargeable, BS-type
lead-acid battery. Because removing batteries may affect the
product's configuration settings or trigger an alarm, only a
qualified installer should remove them.
To remove the battery:
1.
Make sure that your product settings allow you to open its
cover without starting the tamper alarm.
2.
Switch off the mains power, if necessary, and remove the
cover.
3.
Disconnect battery connectors.
4.
Remove the battery from the holder.
For proper recycling, dispose of all batteries as required by
local ordinances or regulations.
WARNING:
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly
replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type
recommended by the manufacturer.
