  • Page 2 Your stove is Certified to ASTM E1509-12 (2017)and Certified to ULC S627-00. This manual describes the installation and operation of the U.S. Stove, VG5713 wood heater. This heater meets the 2020 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s crib wood emission limits for wood heaters sold after May 15, 2020. Under specific test conditions this heater has been shown to deliver heat at rates ranging from 10,609 to 24,676 Btu/hr.

    INSTALLATION Installation instructions are supplied with the air intake kit. After relocation, all venting must be reinstalled and securely fastened.   • Page 10 INSTALLATION VENTING YOUR PELLET STOVE INTO AN EXISTING CLASS A 6” CHIMNEY SYSTEM IMPORTANT: If you are installing your pellet stove as a replacement to an existing wood stove, you can install your pellet stove using the existing class A 6” venting system. You must have the existing chimney system cleaned and/ or inspected by a qualified chimney sweep before proceeding with the installation of your pellet stove.
