17. NEVER pull the plug out of sockets using the supply cord, or pull on the supply cord to
manoeuvre the unit.
18. To disconnect the unit from the cigarette lighter socket, first, switch the vacuum cleaner
off and remove the 12 V car connector by pulling the plug.
19. Keep the supply cord, the plug, and the unit away from heat, oil, and mould.
20. Do not route the supply cord over sharp edges.
21. Pay attention not to pinch the supply cord in the vehicle's doors, windows, or levers.
22. CAUTION: Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Do not insert fingers or
foreign objects in any opening of the appliance and do not obstruct the air outlets. The
ventilation slots shall be kept clear for the unit to work properly and prevent dangerous
overheating. Do not cover the appliance.
23. DO NOT immerse the unit in water or any other liquids. Do not touch with wet hands. Do
not use near water.
24. Do not use the appliance if it has fallen into water or any other liquid. Have it checked by
a qualified repair technician.
25. DO NOT place the appliance in direct sunlight or enclosed space where ventilation is
restricted, or where there are other heat sources.
26. Do not use this product outdoors or on wet surfaces.
27. Never use this appliance to suck up water or other liquids.
28. Do not expose to rain, wet and damp conditions.
29. Do not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
30. Disconnect the unit while the vehicle's engine is not running to prevent the vehicle
battery from becoming excessively drained or flat. When the vehicle is running, the
alternator should provide enough power.
31. The plug will become warm during use. Ensure that the vehicle socket is clean and clear
of debris, and the electrical contact is good to avoid the plug/socket overheating.
32. Take care when removing the plug from the 12 V DC socket and DO NOT touch the metal
contacts which may be hot.
33. Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Improper
repairs can lead to considerable hazards. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be
conducted by qualified personnel only.
