USE LIMITATIONS
For good operating of the motor, in a 6" well, please check the following conditions:
- Maximun motor immersion depth is 100 meters.
- Maximun allowable starts per hours: 30 for direct starting, 15 for star-delta.
- Maximun well water temperature is 35 °C
- The motor uses the water flow, produced by the pump, to assure a suitable heat exchange
not lower than 0.16 m/sec.
PRECAUTION AND PRELIMINARY CHECKS
During transportation and unpacking, care should be taken to avoid hitting the motor.
Check that the power cable has not been damaged.
Do not use the power cable to make the motor move.
Motor power rating is adeguate for the required application.
Power supply voltage and frequency comply with the specifications given on the motor nameplate.
Do not unscrew the filling plug: there is no need to up the cooling fluid in this type of motor and don't remove
any parts of the motors.
The well, in which the motor will be installed, should be clean.
The installation must be done by skilled operators.
