Installation Notes
1. Before installation contact the Trailer manufacturer to insure
that the top of the trailer is structurally strong enough to
support 150 lbs.
2. Be sure to check the GVWR of the trailer and add in any
additional items, E.G. air conditioners, and the weight of the
items you intend to put on the rack
3. The rack is not designed for ABS one-piece trailer tops.
Installation
1. Match up one bar with the male end and one with the female
end. Push the cross bars together. Secure the crossbars with the
supplied 6mm self taping screws (Diagram 1).
2. Repeat the same procedure with the second set of bars.
3. Loosely fit the upright towers on each end of the bar (Diagram 2).
4. Test fit the assembly on the top of the trailer. Position the
towers as close to the edge of the top as possible (Diagram 3).
NOTE: Most trailer tops only have a structure under the edges
of the top, the rest of the top is just a thin skin of material with
foam underneath. The holes should not be any further than
1/2" from the edge of the trailer top.
5. Make sure they are perpendicular (square) on the top of the
trailer. NOTE: The two crossbar assemblies should be
positioned at least 30" apart (Diagram 4).
6. Using the holes in the upright towers as a guide, mark the holes
onto the trailer top (Diagram 5).
