Connect the connection cable and probe cable
Open the housing cover
Cut off the connection plug and dispose of it (optical
probe only).
Pull the connection cable through the cable glands.
Fasten the connection cable to the terminal strips as
shown in the connection diagram (see "Connection dia-
gram").
To do so, use a suitable screwdriver to hold down the
respective cable terminal against the spring pressure until
the cable end has been inserted.
Attach strain relief fittings for all cables.
Note the screw torque of 0.5 Nm.
Fit and fasten the housing cover, tightening torque 1.2
Nm.
4.4 Mount the accessory parts
The terminal block "Alarm" has been preset for connec-
tion of the audible alarm unit. If a potential-free contact is
to be used, the terminal block must be cleared for this (see
"Potential-free contact" section).

Installation and operating instructions
Prepare housing and cable duct (as explained in Chap. (see
"Connecting the probe", page 32). Use the outside right
cable duct.
