Push model
1. Take the machine to where it will be used.
2. Verify the amount of material to be collected.
3. Consequently use the lever to adjust the working height
of the machine.
Pull up the adjustment rod with your right hand.
By pushing your left hand on the handlebar you will be
able to modify the working height.
When you have achieved the ideal height, let go of the
adjustment rod. (See fig. 6).
Operating instructions
1. Check that the high tension wire is on the spark plug.
2. Move the throttle lever to
3. Press the pump (fig. 5) three times to enrichen the carbu-
ration.
4. Move the stop switch in operating position (Fig. 7).
5. Slowly pull the starter handle until the cord is streched
tight and then pull hard to start the engine (Fig. 8).
Self-propelled model
To start the self-propelled model, proceed as described
above and then as follows:
1. If you push the traction bar against the handlebars, the
machine will begin to move forward (see fig. 10).
2. To stop the machine or move it backwards, let go of the
traction bar.
Adjustment of the traction cable
After the first hours of use it is possible that the traction
handle cable loosens and it becomes difficult to use.
If this happens, adjust the cable regulator (Fig. 11).
The adjustment is correct when the traction goes into action
with a distance of 30 mm between the traction handle and
the handlebar (Fig. 12).
Replacement of the oil in the sump
1. Place the machine on a flat surface.
2. Start the engine and run it for about 1 minute until the oil
warms up and becomes more liquid. Turn the engine off;
take the cap off the spart plug and empty the fuel tank.
3. Remove the oil tank cap and pull the dipstick out.
4. Turn the machine on to its left side so that the oil drops
out into a container (Fig. 13).
See paragraph dealing with replacement of oil for refill.
