rating (including in your vehicle owner's manual)
or specific amperage ratings stated on product.
ALWAYS read, understand and follow all
warnings and instructions printed on tow
vehicle's battery.
ALWAYS wear safety glasses and use all safety
precautions during installation.

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Trim Panel Remover, 10mm Socket & Ratchet or
10mm Wrench, Wire Crimpers, Wire Cutters,
Test-probe
1. Open hatch, in the rear cargo area partially remove
the cargo tray and plastic threshold cover.
2. In the rear cargo area, locate and remove the 3
retaining 10 mm bolts and push clips holding the
cargo tray in place. Lift up the cargo tray lay it back

toward the rear seats.
3. Starting on the driver's side, remove the rear cargo
hooks using a 10 mm socket. Partially pull driver's
side trim panel to access harness wiring.
4. On the driver's side, locate the mating connector.

vehicle's mating connector harness and lock into

place.
5. Locate tow vehicle's trailer harness connector. This
harness is located under the vehicle, behind the
rear bumper, on the passenger's side of the vehicle

6. Remove protective cap from connector. Store
protective cap in glove compartment along with
installation instructions. Check to see that the
mating surfaces of the connectors are free of
dirt and clean if necessary. Insert the 6-Pin
Tow-Plug Adapter and lock into place. Ensure
that the connectors are fully inserted with
locking tabs in place.

7. Route the T-Connector harness rearward to the
back of the fascia of the bumper. Secure the
remainder of the T-One
with the cable ties provided, to prevent damage
or rattling and being careful to avoid any areas
that would pinch, cut or melt the wire.
8. Mount the 4-Flat end in an accessible location
A
with a bracket or electrical box (not included).
WARNING
All connections must be complete for the T-One
Connector to function properly. Test and verify
installation with a test light or trailer once installed.
For initial test, reset vehicle electrical system by
temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

9. Secure the remainder of the T-One
harness with the cable ties provided, to prevent
damage or rattling and being careful to avoid any
areas that would pinch, cut or melt the wire.
WARNING
Read and follow all warnings and cautions printed
on the tow vehicle's battery. All connections must
be complete for the T-One
properly. Test and verify installation with a test light
or trailer once installed. For initial test, reset vehicle
electrical system by temporarily removing the key
from the ignition.

10. Reinstall the plastic trim panels, threshold, storage

covers, floor covering and other items that may
have been removed during installation, being
careful not to pinch or cut the wires.
NOTE
Secure all loose wires and mount the Trailer Tow
Harness in an accessible location with a bracket or
electrical box.
