Finding the optimum mounting point.
1. Determine the type of bumper on the vehicle (Pg. 8)
2. Once the bumper type is determined you will know which angle
finder and mounting adapter you will use on your vehicle.
3. Line the non-angled side of the angle template to the outer most
edge of the side mirror. With the non-angled side aligned with the
mirror, you will see where the angled side meets the vehicle. This will
give you the optimum mounting location for the sensor.
4. Find an area behind the bumper that will allow you to mount the
sensor on the mounting adaptor that is 17.75" to 31.5" (45-80cm)
from the ground.
NOTE: The sensor needs mounted as flat as possible, any angle up or
down may result in non-optimized results.
5. Before removing the bumper, be sure there is plenty of clearance for
the sensor.
