Do not store the iron with water remaining in the tank.
Steam ironing
1.
Fill the water tank by following the instructions provided in the "Filling the water tank"
chapter.
2.
Plug the iron into a mains socket.
3.
The steam iron function can only be used if the highest heat setting has been selected via
the temperature knob. Otherwise, water will be released (i.e. as a liquid state) through
the soleplate.
4.
Wait for the indicator light to turn off as an indication that the set temperature has been
reached.
5.
Turn the steam knob to the required position.
6.
Whenever you finish ironing or momentarily stop ironing, rest the iron in an upright position.
7.
Unplug the iron from the mains socket. Empty any remaining water from the tank and
let the iron cool down.
Spraying water
1.
The spray can be used in any position - including both the dry and steam iron functions
- provided there is water in the water tank.
2.
Press the spray button to use this function.
This button must be pressed repeatedly to activate the function for the first time.
Steam burst
The steam burst can be used to remove stubborn creases.
1.
Set the temperature knob to the "max" position and wait for the indicator to turn off.
2.
Wait a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fibres before passing over them again.
To obtain optimal steam, do not use more than three successive bursts of steam
at a time. The button must be pumped several times to activate this function.
Excessive use of this function will cause the iron to cool down. Always wait for
the indicator to turn off before pressing the steam burst button.
