Operation (figure D)
Connect the device to the mains by inserting the power plug into the power
outlet. Move the switch (7) to the "ON" position. The button indicator (6) will
light up and flash. Wait about 40 seconds for the steam to build up. Quiet
crackling during heating is allowed. The device is ready for operation when the
button indicator (6) lights steadily. Place the item to be steamed vertically or
horizontally. Point the nozzle away from yourself and those present, press the
steam button (6). Let out the first portion of steam on an inconspicuous area of
the product, as a few drops of water may come out. Then point the nozzle at
the surface to be steamed. When finished, press the steam button (6) again.
Turn the switch (7) to the OFF position to turn the unit off. Unplug the unit and
drain the remaining water from the water tank.
WARNING! When using it for the first time, check the operation of the device
on old clothing: it is possible that dust accumulated in the device during
transport and production may get in.
Note: For more efficient steaming in an upright position, it is recommended to
pull the garment lightly with your free hand and glove on (4) and slowly move
the steamer from top to bottom. When steaming horizontally, it is
recommended to move the steamer forward and backward.
Maintenance and cleaning
To clean the steamer wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do not use any detergents
or cleaning agents. Do not attempt to use any descaling agent, this will
damage the device. If you are in very hard water area, use distilled or bottled
water.
Troubleshooting possible malfunctions
• The device does not heat up. Possible reason: the device is not switched on
or not connected to the power supply. Solution: Make sure the unit is turned
on, the power plug is connected to the outlet, and the outlet is in good
condition.
• The device does not generate steam. Possible causes: low water level in the
tank; the unit is not turned on or not connected to the mains. Solution:
