OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Before using your sander be sure to read the instruction manual
carefully.
1. Installing the sanding belt
Pull the belt release lever out, install the sanding belt on the rotary drum, and
then reset the handle.
:
ATTENTION
Before installing the sanding belt, make sure the switch is in off
position and cord is unplugged. When installing the sanding belt, make sure
the direction of arrow on the back of the sanding belt matches the arrow of the
tool.
2. Adjusting track of sanding belt
Turn belt sander upside down and hold it firmly with one hand, turn on switch
and observe the track of sanding belt. If the belt runs outward, turn the
adjustment, handle anti-clockwise. Continue adjusting until the sanding belt
track aligns with centre. Be sure the sanding belt does not rub against tool
housing or metal guard.
ATTENTION: In some cases, the belt will require a slight readjustment after it
is applied to the work surface. Observe the track carefully during the first
minutes of operation and readjust as required.
3. Installing and removing the dust bag
The photo on the left shows how to install the dust bag. When an excessive
amount of dust accumulates in the dust bag, dust collecting efficiency
decreases sharply. To ensure
optimal dust collecting and working efficiency, empty the dust bag when it
becomes filled to approximately 2/3 of its capacity. The dust bag can be
emptied as follows:
(1) Remove the dust bag from the machine.
(2) Open the dust bag by unzipping the slide fastener.
