Caution
Only use the halogen heater on a firm and solid surface, where all the feet on the
base touch the floor. (Should the heater be tilted or tipped over, the auto cut-off
switch will activate).
1. Place the heater outside or in a large open area, away from flammable
materials, such as branches, curtains and furniture (minimum distance of one
metre).
2. Do not use near bathtubs, wash areas or swimming pools.
3. Do not use in unventilated areas
4. Do not use where gas, petrol, paint or other flammable items are stored.
5. Do not push any items through, obstruct or cover the grill.
6. Do not position directly above or below an electrical socket.
7. Do not move when plugged in. Always wait for the patio heater to cool down
before storing away.
8. Do not touch the heater head when in use.
9. Do not leave unattended, especially when children or pets are nearby.
10. The indication of the different position of switches must be visible from 1M.
11. The Marking concerning covering must be visible after the heater has been
installed. It must not be placed on the back of portable heaters.
12. There must be 100cm of space between the wall and unit.
13. The unit must be correctly installed according to the instructions.
14. The unit must be securely placed on a flat surface.
15. The unit gets very hot during operation. When turned off, the unit remains hot
for a short period. Do not touch to avoid burns.
16. Don't place the unit near curtains and/or other flammable objects – this is a fire
hazard.
17. Don't cover the unit during operation. Wait until it has completely cooled down
before covering.
18. Don't wrap the power supply cord around the unit.
19. The unit must be handled with care – do not hit or drop this unit.
20. The unit must be securely grounded when in use.
21. If the unit gets damaged, it must be repaired by the manufacturer, its service
agent or a qualified professional to avoid danger.
22. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or a qualified professional to avoid danger.
