VIKING YOUSAFE
YouSafe™ Twist (PS4104) is in conformity
with the provisions of the Marine Equipment
Directive (MED) 2014/90/EU as well as the
Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European
Parliament and of the Council.
The product complies with the LSA Code
(International Life Saving Appliance Code),
Resolutions MSC.48(66) and MSC.81(70) as
amended. The product further complies with
EN ISO 15027-1:2012, performance level D.
The suits are certified by NB0200 FORCE
Certification A/S, Park Allé 345, Brøndby,
Denmark.
The suit is categorized as:
- Non-insulated immersion suit
- Constant wear suit (dry-type suit system)
- performance level D
WARNING
This suit system does not perform as a personal
flotation device and will not turn an unconscious
wearer to a face up position.
This suit system has to be worn with a
compatible and approved lifejacket to maintain
approval.
The suit system may increase the risk of heat
stress.
IMPORTANT
Check that neck seal and wrist cuffs seal tightly
to prevent water penetration.
PERFORMANCE LEVEL
Thermal protection non-insulated immersion
suit: 1 hour at 5 C°.
Thermal protection constant wear suit -
performance level D: 2 hours at 10 C°.
Please note that protection against cold
water depends on the insulation of the suit in
correlation with water temperature.

WARNING
Estimated thermal protection time according to
performance level D is based on standard testing
conditions in accordance with ISO 15027-3.
Other environmental conditions and personal
characteristics may change thermal protection
time.
REQUIRED UNDERCLOTHING
Always wear warm underwear, i.e. cotton
underwear (short-sleeved, short-legged), long-
sleeved heavy cotton shirt, cotton trousers,
woolen socks – calf length, two woolen long
sleeved pullovers and appropriate footwear.
TRAINING BEFORE USE
We recommend all users to participate in
training with the immersion suit in a swimming
pool to ensure that the user is familiar with the
immersion suit.
