Attaching the telescopic stand to the stand base.
First unscrew the L-shaped screw and remove it and the clamping washer from the bottom of the
telescopic stand.
• Turn over the stand base. Place the weighted base centre in its place on the underside of the base
and the clamping washer in the centre of the weighted base.
• Thread the L-shaped screw through the assembly and into the thread in the telescopic stand.
Tighten firmly, but do not overtighten.
• Loosen the height adjustment knob and pull he inner tube out the telescopic stand to the desired
height, then retighten the knob. Attaching the motor housing to the top of the telescopic stand.
• First remove the pivot knob and the bolt from the top of the telescopic stand, then remove the neck
retaining screw and small adjustment knob from the motor housing bracket.
• Place the motor housing on the top of the stand and thread the large pivot bolt through the bracket.
Screw in the small retaining screw and tighten, but do not overtighten.
• Fit the large pivot knob onto the end of the bolt and the small adjustment knob at the other side
above the bolt. Tighten the knobs while holding the fan motor upright.
Attaching the guards and fan blade
• First remove any protective sleeve from the motor shaft and the four rear guard retaining screws
from the motor housing. Attach the rear guard to the motor housing using the four screws you just
removed. Ensure the handle is at the top. Place the fan blade over the motor shaft and tighten the
fan blade retaining screw, ensuring that it tightens against the flat part on the motor shaft.
• Remove the front guard screw and nut from the front guard and turn the guard retaining clips
around the outside edge outwards. Hang the front guard by its hook over the top of the rear guard.
Bring the front guard down to meet the rear guard and push the clips inwards until the front guard
is fastened to the rear guard. Finally fit the guard screw through the holes in the bottom edge of the
guard and tighten with the nut.
SPEED SELECTION
Choose the speed desired pressing on the buttons of the control panels.
Position 0 the fan switch off.
Position 1 low speed.
Position 2 medium speed.
Position 3 high speed.
