1. Remove tie down bracket: Using 14mm socket, remove (2) bolts
from tie down bracket on rear passenger side of vehicle, as shown.
Return bolts and bracket to vehicle owner.
3. Tighten all 1/2"-13 fasteners with torque wrench to 75 Ft.-Lb. (102 N*M).
Tighten all M10 fasteners with torque wrench to 42 Ft.-Lb. (57 N*M).

2. Install hitch: Raise hitch into position. Using 3/4" wrench and 3/4" socket, loosely
install (2) 1/2" Bolt ①, (2) 1/2" Flat Washers ②, (2) 1/2" Conical washers ③, and
(2) 1/2" hex nuts ④ as shown, both sides. Using 17mm socket, loosely install (1)
M10 bolt ⑤, and (1) 3/8" Conical washer ⑥ as shown, both sides. Note: If
necessary, use wire brush to remove paint and debris from weldnuts.
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
