1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Open the entrance to the rear light units.
Remove the covering in the back of the car.

Drill a 13 mm hole in the back of the car, just behind the towbar plate.
Remove carefully all metal particles around the hole and treat it with anti rust paint. Fit the rubber grommet in the hole.
3.
Route the end of the wiring harness through the rubber grommet to the contact holder. watch out the heat from the exhaust pipe!
Pull the coverplate over the harness. Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Mount the socket to the towbar plate.
4.
On both rear light units a free connector space is located. Connect the wiring harness end with the yellow wire corresponding.
Do the same with the green wire on the right side.
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
5.
Near the left wheelcase a 6-pole connector for the rearfoglight is located.
Disconncect this connector, and connect the wiring harness end with the colours blue and grey correspondingly.
6.
Remove the door-beams on the right side of the car so the wiring harness with the red, brown and black wires can be led to the check control
which is located on the right side in the motorcompartment. Remove the light failure sensor from the check control.
Remove the following wires:
The wire of the left tail light in sockle chaimber 11 or 10, since there are 2 models
The wire of the brake lights in sockle chaimber 5.
The wire of the right tail light in sockle chaimber 14 or 18, since there are 2 models.
Connect the black, brown and red wires as follows:
The brown wire in the sockle chaimber 14 or 18, since there are 2 models.
The black wire in the sockle chaimber 10 or 11, since there are 2 models.
The red wire in the sockle chaimber 5.
Connect the removed wires of the vehicule to the connectors of the wiring harness as follows:
The wire of the left tail light to the 2 pole connector of the black wire.
The wire of the right tail light to the 2 pole connector of the brown wire.
The wire of the brake lights to the 1 pole connector of the red wire.
7.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall all disassembled parts.
