2.2 – Arcair system
Machines model Mig 500 (as optional) and Mig 650 (as standard) allow cut or gouging Arcair system.

ARCAIR SYSTEM

The following describes how to prepare machine for operation with Arcair system (Arcair cutting, Arcair
gouging or bevelling).
1 – The user must read security instructions and protect itself with the above individual protection
equipment: leather gloves, protection mask DIN 9, gaiters and apron.
2 – With machine disconnect from power
supply, withdraw power plug of interconnection
cable (positive connexion). Make sure that it
cannot touch live electrical parts.
4 - Connect power cable of carbon electrode holder to
positive quick plug (+).
MIG SELECT 300H/4R / 350H/4R / 400H/4R / 500H/4R / 650H/4R
3 - After connecting Arcair electrode holder, check the contact
tightness of power cable.
5 - Connect compressed air tube of carbon electrode holder
to air supply. Min. pressure 5 bar, min. flow 100 lts/min.
