Mounting Brackets (see figure E)
WARNING!
Remove the battery pack from the miter saw
before mounting the miter saw to the miter saw
stand.
– Position the miter saw to achieve maximum
balance and stability.
– Place the spring washers (17) and the flat
washers (18) onto the hexagon socket head
bolts (16).
– Lift one side of the saw and place a saw
mounting bracket underneath, aligning the
bolts (16) with the sliding plates (E-1) in the
slot of the saw mounting bracket through
the Miter Saw mounting holes.
– Lower the saw onto the bracket, securing the
bolts (16) into the sliding plates (E-1).
– Repeat above steps to install the second

Universal Miter Saw Mounting
Method
Use 19mm Plywood to Mount
Your Miter Saw (see figures F)
16
M8 x 60 and work stop
– Determine the correct size of plywood
needed. The plywood must be at least
101.6mm wider than the largest width of
your Miter Saw base. The plywood should be
at least as deep as the smallest depth of the
Miter Saw base or a minimum of 406.4mm if
the Miter Saw base is smaller. Make sure that
the plywood is square.
– Drill 9.5mm holes 25.4mm from the front
two corners of the plywood, 381mm apart
and 25.4mm from the sides. As shown in
Figure Fa.
– Place the plywood on top of the mounting
brackets and align the drilled holes with the
slots in the mounting brackets.
– Mount the plywood to the mounting
brackets as described in the "Attaching Saw
to Saw Mounting Brackets" section.
– Place the Miter Saw on top of the plywood
in the correct location and mark the location
of the Miter Saw mounting holes to the
plywood.
– Drill holes according to the size of the
hardware chosen:
■ The hardware diameter is determined
by the mounting holes in the Miter Saw.
■ The length of the hardware must be
31.8mm longer than the maximum
height of the Miter Saw base at each of
the four mounting locations.
■ Hardware must be minimum of Grade
5 or Class 8.8.
– Secure the Miter Saw to the plywood as
shown in Figure Fb.
