First time use

For the first use or anytime the
filter is dry, uncap both ends
and put the LifeStraw® Steel
vertically half way into water for
15 seconds. Take a few sips until
water reaches the mouth. Then
blow the water back out through
the LifeStraw® Steel once (to
remove trapped air) and then
start drinking normally.

Daily use

Start using
LifeStraw® Steel
by uncapping both
ends and standing
it up in water for 10
seconds. Then take
quick sips from the
mouthpiece.
Regularly blow
air through
LifeStraw® Steel
after drinking to
keep the filter
clean and
prevent
clogging.
