The UHP 3D Plus may provide noticeably more magnetic attraction for the use of a given

magnet size than the UHP 3D.
The UHP 3D Plus may not provide adequate retention for all users.

If you change the type of headpiece you should contact your cochlear implant professional

to check/adjust the magnet strength.

Intended Use

The UHP 3D Plus headpiece is intended to transfer sound signals and power
between your Advanced Bionics' cochlear implant and sound processor. The UHP
3D Plus headpiece is intended for use by users who experience retention issues
with the standard UHP 3D headpiece or for situations where retention may be
difficult, such as in the Operating Room. It is expected to be used with the Extra
Large, Max or the Plus magnet.
