Description of the Device The UHP 3D Plus headpiece contains a magnet well designed to accommodate the necessary magnet with appropriate strength to ensure retention between the cochlear implant and the headpiece. A microphone embedded in the headpiece, if enabled, allows the headpiece to also function as a sound input source. A cable* attached to the headpiece cable connection port transfers sound signals between the headpiece and sound processor. -

Operating Information The UHP 3D Plus headpiece is compatible with the Naída CI (CI-5245, CI-5260, and CI-5280) and Neptune (CI-5240) sound processors, associated cables (CI-5413 and CI-5415), 3D Magnets, UHP 3D Color Caps, and the HiRes Ultra 3D cochlear implant (CI-1601). - Page 10 Attach a color cap.
