2. Commissioning mode
Battery gateways always start in installation mode during commissioning (connecting the power supply).
Installation mode means:
▶ Alle Telegramme werden sofort weitergeleitet.
▶ Das Gerät bleibt für 30 Minuten aktiv.
▶ Der Installationsmodus kann per MQTT-Befehl verlängert bzw. eine Dauer angegeben werden.
Note:
▶ There is no installation mode for devices with mains voltage.
▶ If there is no white list for the meters, all data is saved and forwarded immediately.
▶ The transmission interval for the meter data transmission can be controlled via the white list.
2.1 Commissioning Smart Node with power supply unit
Opening the housing

Unscrew the four screws on the cover to open the cover.
Mounting the device

The housing has four slotted holes for oval-head screws.
For mounting on walls, we recommend screws with a diameter of 5 mm and a length of at
least 25 mm and matching rawl plugs, as well as washers with an external diameter of 10 mm.
Inserting the SIM card

This step is optional because all of our devices are delivered with a SIM card.
It is possible to replace this with your own card at any time.
Power supply

Connect the power supply unit to the power supply.
Caution: Danger to life!
Only switch on when the power supply is switched off.
Switching on

After switching on, the gateway connects to the server via the network (GSM/Wi-Fi). The
connection process usually takes no longer than 90 seconds. The network connection can be
checked via the status LED.
Closing the housing

Close and seal the housing using the four screws.
