To reduce the risk of electric shock in the event of a fault or malfunction,
the unit must be connected to a grounded outlet. If you are not sure
whether your outlet meets the requirements, seek advice from an
electrician.
Lay all cables so that no one steps on them and take care to lay the cables
so that they are not kinked. This applies especially to all places where
cables come out of the unit or the wall.
Pull the plug out of the socket if there is a thunderstorm or if you will not
be using the device for a long time. Do not pull the plug out of the mains
socket by the cable, but hold it with your hand.
Make sure that the unit is switched off when you connect it or connect it
to other devices.
When the unit is connected and wired, first turn the volume down
completely. Then slowly turn the volume up until it reaches the desired
level.
When earthing the unit, be careful not to damage the built-in earthing.
Inspect cabinets, shelves, casing, brackets and accessories for possible
damage before hanging or installing the unit. Missing, corroded, deformed
or unstable parts pose a safety risk and reduce the stability of the
furniture.
If you want to hang up the unit, have this done by a professional.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel and are required
when the device
has been damaged, the power cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen on it, the device has been exposed to water or
moisture, it has been dropped, or it does not operate normally.
