6. Maintenance

Assuming that the PlasmaMade Airfilter has been installed according to the instructions,
it requires little maintenance. The PlasmaMade Airfilter is cleaned automatically as soon
as it is put into operation.
If the outside or the sensor becomes dirty with for example dust deposits, these may be
cleaned off simply using a vacuum cleaner.
There are no components that need to be replaced periodically.
You must follow the maintenance instructions of your extractor hood.
The grease filters must be of a good quality, always cleaned regularly and in order to
prevent contamination of the PlasmaMade filter.

7. Faults

Incompetent repairs are dangerous – you run the risk of an electric
shock! If the device is faulty, remove the plug from the socket and contact
customer service.

Solution
Put the plug into the wall socket.
Check whether other kitchen equipment is
working.
Check in the meter cupboard whether the
device's fuse is intact.
Remove power from the filter temporarily
(remove the plug from the socket briefly) –
thereafter the electronics will reset itself.
Turn the hood off. You can re-enable
the hood after 1-2 minutes.
