NOTE: Remove underbody panel (If present) – Using T20 star driver remove (5) screws from the underbody panel. Using 10mm socket loosen (2) nuts from under body panel. Gently remove panel and return to
owner.
(For vehicles with existing weldnuts on side frame)
1.
Trim bumper fascia – Using tape measure and marker, measure to find the center of the fascia, mark a centerline on the bottom of the fascia and trim as shown in Figure 2. Mark a centerline on the
vertical portion of fascia and trim as shown in Figure 3 * Do not trim away the bottom edge. *Dimensions are approximate and may be adjusted for fit and aesthetics*

Lower exhaust and remove existing fasteners – Lower the exhaust by removing (2) bolts from each rear exhaust hanger bracket (1 per side) with a 13mm socket. Remove (4) M10x1.5x40mm bolts from
the outside of the frame rails (2 per side) with a 16mm socket. NOTE: Make sure exhaust is supported after lowering.
3.
Install hitch – Raise the hitch into position over the exhaust and forward enough so that the receiver clears the bottom edge of fascia. Align the holes in the hitch with the vehicle existing weldnuts and
install the bolts removed earlier.
4.
Tighten the M10 fasteners with torque wrench to 53Lb.-Ft. (72 N*M)
5.
Re-install exhaust - Raise exhaust into position, install the bolts removed from the hangers earlier.
(For vehicles without existing weldnuts on side frame) – Same Step 1-2 as above

Install hitch – Using pull wire ⑤, feed (2) carriage bolts ① and (2) spacers ② through access hole as shown in Figure 4 and 5, both sides. Leave pull wires attached to hardware and leave hardware inside
the frame temporarily. Raise the hitch and feed pull wire previously installed through hitch bracket slot. Remove pull wires and loosely install conical washer ③ and hex nut ④ to hitch, see Figure 2.
4.
Tighten the 7/16" fasteners with torque wrench to 50Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M)
5.
Re-install exhaust - Raise exhaust back into position, install the bolts removed from the hangers earlier.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe
safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
