Turn the switch to position "1" (minimal speed) for mainly liquid ingredients.
Turn the switch to position "2" (maximum speed) for combinations of liquid and solid
ingredients.
For adding liquids or other ingredients, turn the switch Knob in position "0" and remove the
measuring cup.
Once you have finished the preparation, stop the appliance (switch in "0" position) and unplug
the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention: before cleaning, switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the current socket.
• To clean the jug and blade insert about 500ml lukewarm water, insert the lid and measuring cup turn
the switch Knob in position "Pulse" for a few seconds, then remove the jug and rinse it under running
water.
• The blades are very sharp: pay attention during maintenance and cleaning.
• Wash the jug and measuring cup with soapy water and dry them carefully; do not wash them in the
dishwasher. Before putting away or using them, check that they are perfectly dry.
• To clean the motor body, use a soft, slightly damp cloth; do not use metal pads or abrasive products.
Do not wash it under flowing water; do not submerge it in water; do not wash in the dishwasher.
Before use, check that it is perfectly dry, especially the contacts.
• Wash the bowl and tops with soapy water and dry them carefully; do not wash them in the
dishwasher. Before putting away or using them, check that they are perfectly dry.
• A special tool is required to replace the electrical cable: contact an authorised assistance centre, also
for any repairs.
• Contact one of our authorised assistance centres for the replacement of any parts or repairs.
If you decide to no longer use the appliance, we recommend making it inoperative by cutting off the
power supply cable (make sure that you have removed the plug from the power socket first), and to
make parts which if used as children's toys innocuous (blades).
