should not be left within the reach of children, since they are potentially dangerous: they must be
disposed of in accordance with the law disciplining differentiated refuse.
• Before plugging in the appliance, make sure that the information on the plate matches your electricity
supply. In the event of incompatibility between the socket and the appliance plug, have the plug
replaced with a suitable one by professionally qualified personnel, who check that the section of the
socket wires is suitable for the electrical input to the appliance. Generally, it is not a good idea to use
adaptors, multiple plugs and/or extension leads; if their use cannot be avoided, make sure they
conform to current safety regulations and that their current capacity (amps) is not less than the
maximum power absorbed by the device.
• Each time before use, check that the appliance is in good condition, that the electrical cable is not
damaged: if in doubt, contact professionally qualified personnel.
• Position the appliance far from other sources of heat and check that the support surface is stable and
not sloping to prevent the appliance from overturning.
• Position the appliance away from liquid containers (such as sinks etc.), to avoid water splashes or
falling in. If the appliance should unexpectedly become wet or be submerged in liquid, immediately
remove the plug from the current socket, turn the switch to the "0" position, dry it carefully and check
that no liquid has entered inside; if in doubt, contact professionally qualified personnel.
• Ensure that the cable is positioned correctly and that it is not touching hot parts, sharp edges, wound
around the appliance, twisted on itself and not caught up so that the appliance does not fall over.
• The appliance must not be positioned immediately under a socket.
• Before each use, check that the device is in good condition and that the electric cord is not damaged:
if you are unsure, do not use the appliance and contact qualified service personnel.
• The power socket must be easy to reach so the plug can be removed quickly in case of emergency.
• Do not use the appliance with a timer or a programmer or with a system that can switch on the
appliance automatically, to avoid risk of fire, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or
positioned incorrectly.
• In the case of a breakdown or fault, switch off the appliance and have it checked by a professionally
qualified technician; repairs made by unqualified persons can be dangerous and render void the
warranty.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks. Failure to follow
this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating label for the
maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum usage time). The breaks
should last at least 10 minutes.
CAUTION!
Your appliance is fitted with two security devices on the pouring jug allowing the functioning of the
appliance only when the jug is correctly placed on the motor base. If those conditions are met and the
appliance does not start, call your after sales service.
MOUNTING OF THE BLENDER AND USE
Assemble the pouring jug on the motor block, the arrow marked on the base to jug must coincide
with the slot made in the motor body.
Fill the pouring jug with the chosen ingredients.
Screw the lid until it stops and make sure the stopper is closed correctly.
Insert the plug into the current socket.
Select the speed that is most suitable for the ingredients you want to process, during use, keep
blending receptacle in place with your hands.
The "P" (Pulse) position allows a manual operation. As soon as you release the switch, the
blades stop turning. This position is generally used to crush ice.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under special instruction from Team
International BELGIUM. The pages must be reproduced
and folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm
width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you
keep the good numbering when you turn the pages of
the I/B. Don't change the page numbering. Keep the
language integrity.
