If the oil level is close or below the minimum level,
refill oil until the oil level is close to the maximum
level.
6.3.3. PETROL
Check that there is enough petrol in the petrol deposit
and refill if necessary. To refill with petrol:
1. Choose an adequate area and surface to refill
petrol.
2. Remove the petrol cap.
3. Refill with petrol but never surpassing the level of
the petrol filter that is in the entrance of the petrol
deposit. If petrol covers the petrol filter, petrol could
leak out when the petrol heats up and expands.
4. Screw the petrol cap tightly.
5. Eliminate all the petrol that
could have leaked out
with a dry rag.
WARNING:
Stop the engine before refilling.
Do not refill in a closed area or with very little
ventilation.
Do not smoke when refilling.
Move the machine at least 3 metres from the
refilling area before starting the machine. Always use
unleaded 95 octane petrol.
6.4. START UP AND STOPPAGE
6.4.1. WATER PRIMING
Attention! Never start up the machine without filling
the water pump with water.
Fill up the water circuit of
the machine. Make sure
the machine is filled up with
water before starting the
machine. If not, there could
be breakages.
The water circuit of the pump is filled opening the cap
for water replenishment and filling it up with water
until it overflows. Once the pump is full of water, close
the cap prior to continuing.
6.4.2. START UP OF THE ENGINE
Follow the instructions of cold or hot start up
depending on the state of the machine.
6.4.3. COLD START UP
1. Pump the primer of the carburetor (7 to 10 times)
several times to ensure that the fuel has reached
the carburetor.
2. Put the air lever in the close position
3. Move the lever accelerator to the high position.
4. Pull the starter rope until the engine starts.
5. Move the air lever gradually to the open position
6.4.4. HOT START UP
1. Put the air lever in the open position
2. Pull the starter rope until the engine starts.
