2. DESCRIPTION
2-1 Overview
You have just purchased the ALF1210 elc power supply. We thank you and
congratulate you for your choice.
This device was manufactured in accordance with European standard EN 61010-1.
This instructions manual contains informations and warnings the buyer must comply
with in order to ensure safe and sustained operation.
It is intended for professional, industrial or educational uses.

2.4 Accessories of the instrument
Your ALF1210 is delivered with one double insulation cord with 2 poles (CEE 7/16
- CEE 22 C7) and its instructions manual.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.1 Safety instructions
The instrument must be used according to the instructions of this manual.

Made to be used indoors, do not expose to the rain.
For a natural and correct cooling, the power supply must stand on its four rubber
thrusts and all ventilations must be widely cleared.
The plug of the feeding cable being used as the switch off device, the instrument
must be connected to a mains socket easily accessible and near.
No intervention is authorized inside the casing.
3-2 Use
Plug the power supply to the main input voltage 220 -240 V and switch it on (O/I switch).
The green LED lights up (ON : voltage presence), your instrument is ready to work.
4. WORKING
ALF1210 is a regulated and protected power supply that allow an use in limit case
of operation :
- Choose the output voltage thanks to the fine voltage adjustment.
- Connect the power supply on main, the green LED lights up.
- Connect the charge.
If required current is superior to the one that the ALF1210 can supply, a limitation starts
and the red LED lights up.
Fan only works when necessary.
5. MAINTENANCE
No particular maintenance is required for this instrument.
Avoid dust, moisture, shocks : your instrument will be grateful for that.
If the green indicator does not light up when switching on, check :
- The mains voltage presence.
Switch
ON/OFF - The connection to mains.
If the STATUS red led indicator lights up, either the power supply has a defect and
its output is limited to 17 V, or the fan has a defect and the output is cut. In this case,
please send the power supply back to our after sales service.
6. AFTER SALES SERVICE
During TWO YEARS, spare parts and workmanship are guaranteed. This guarantee
does not apply to instrument presenting defects or failures caused by an improper use.
Return expenses are borne by the client. Only devices returned with a dated purchasing
invoice can be recovered by the guarantee. Any intervention carried out by
unauthorized persons or organizations, shall void the guarantee.
