o Make sure you are in pause or cue mode. Turn the JOG wheel in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction to begin
searching. The starting point will be displayed on the LCD.
i. Scanning
o With the scanning function you can quickly move forward or backward. Use the SHUTTLE wheel to do so.
o This device supports 7 different scanning speeds. The scanning speed depends on how quick you turn the shuttle
wheel in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction. Release the SHUTTLE wheel to return to normal speed.
j. Time Display
Press the TIME button to select the time display mode.
1. Elapsed time
2. Remaining time
3. Total remaining time
k. Matching the Beats Per Minute (BPM)
You can match the BPM of both CDs using three tools:
- pitch SLIDER
- pitch JOG wheel
- pitch BEND buttons
1. Pitch SLIDER
o Press the PITCH button to enable the pitch adjustment slider.
o Slide up to decrease the BPM, slide down to increase the BPM. The range is +/- 12%.
2. Pitch JOG wheel
o While the CD is playing, turn the wheel in a clockwise direction to increase the BPM; turn in an anticlockwise
direction to decrease the BPM. The range is +/- 16%.
3. Pitch BEND buttons
o Hold the pitch BEND+ button pressed to increase the pitch; hold the pitch BEND- button pressed to decrease the
pitch.
o The BPM increase depending on how long you hold the button. Range is +/- 16%. Press the pitch BEND button to
increase or to decrease with accuracy.
o The CD will return to the pitch indicated by the slider once you release the button.
o Following figure shows an example of how to use the pitch bend function. Both players are playing and the BPM
has been matched with the pitch sliders.
