Any claims for warranty will become invalid in the
event of damage that results from the non-obser-
vance of the operating instructions. We do not
accept responsibility for any indirect losses.
We do not accept responsibility for damage to prop-
erty or for personal injuries caused by improper use
or non-observance of safety instructions. Guaran-
tees will not be accepted in any such case.
The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is
inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
For power supply only use batteries or the adapter we recommend.
Also observe the safety instructions for the adapter you use.
These scales are not a toy! Keep the scales away from children.
Do not expose these scales to heavy mechanical strain, high tem-
peratures, strong vibrations, air drafts, large temperature variations
or humidity. These scales may only be used outdoors in suitable
weather or with an appropriate protection.
These scales are a precise measuring instrument. Operation in an
environment with strong electro-magnetic radiation (electric motors,
cellular phones, transmitting masts etc.) can lead to deviations in
the display.

been opened or overloaded.

2. Press the TARE button (7) and keep it pressed down, the ex fac-
tory offset value is now displayed.
3. Press the TARE button again. The display shows "2Ero" and then
the calibration weight required. Now place the respective option-
ally available calibration weight in the middle of the weighing
plate. The calibration weights are different depending on the type
of scales. Please also observe the section "Technical Data" at the
end of these operating instructions.
4. Press the TARE button again. The calibration process is now initi-
ated. The display shows "CAL". After the calibration, the display
shows "PASS".
5. Then press and hold the TARE button. Calibration is now com-
pleted and the scales switched off.
Counting Function
With this function you can determine the number of pieces for small
items.
1. Switch on the scales and select "pcs" (pieces) with the mode but-
ton (8).
2. Select the quantity with the PCS button (5): (S : 10, S : 20, S : 50
or S : 100). This number (quantity) will be the basis for counting
the number of pieces. The higher the number (quantity), the more
accurate the counting.
3. Place the same quantity (number of pieces) of material as you
have just selected on the weighing plate.
