6. Notes on Rechargeable Batteries
• Keep rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children.
• Please observe correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when connecting the lead rechargeable
battery.
• Leaking or damaged rechargeable batteries may cause caustic burns if they come into
contact with skin. Therefore you should use suitable protective gloves for this.
• Rechargeable batteries may not be short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into fire. There is
a danger of explosion!
• The product must only be operated with a suitable 12 V lead battery. Never install batteries
of other technologies (NiCd, NiMH, LiPo, etc.); there is a danger of fire and explosion!
